Cookies with leftover barley porridge: you need only four ingredients
Barley is one of the most affordable cereals. It is often prepared as a side dish for fish or meat dishes. But if the porridge is left over and no longer tasty and attractive, you can make cookies from it.
The idea of making cookies with barley porridge was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Roksolana (roksolana.harasymiv).
Ingredients:
- barley porridge - 5-6 tbsp
- banana - 1 pc
- eggs - 1 pc
- coconut flakes - 6 tbsp
Cooking method:
1. Mash barley porridge, banana, and egg with a fork until smooth.
2. Add coconut flakes.
3. Spoon the mixture on a silicone mat or parchment into balls.
4. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
