Coconut cookies without flour: what to add instead
To make sweet homemade cookies, you don't need to prepare a multi-component dough and bake it for a long time. You can use regular coconut flakes and make a dessert in just a few minutes. The mass is very easy to mix, bakes evenly and turns out to be very crispy.
The idea of making crispy coconut cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria Didus.
Ingredients:
- coconut flakes - 200 g
- condensed milk - 180 ml
- corn starch - 10 g
- vanilla - 0.5 tsp
- whites - 2 pcs
- chocolate - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Combine coconut flakes, condensed milk, starch, and vanilla. Mix.
2. Separately, beat the two egg whites until thick peaks form.
3. Mix these two masses.
4. Form the cookies with wet hands or a spoon (as convenient).
5. Bake at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes until golden brown. You need to be guided by your oven.
