Classic julienne with chicken and mushrooms: can be served as an appetizer or an independent dish
It is commonly believed that julienne is a hot appetizer prepared, as a rule, with poultry and mushrooms. But in fact, julienne is a method of cutting food used to prepare this dish.
However, this is not as important as the fact that julienne is an extremely tender and flavorful dish that leaves no one indifferent. The recipe for julienne with chicken and mushrooms was shared on Instagram by a food blogger named kathycoooks.
Ingredients
- chicken fillet - 1 pc
- mushrooms - 250 gr
- onion - 1 pc
- cream (20% and more) - 100-150 ml
- mozzarella - 200 gr
- spices - to taste
- butter - 15 grams
Method of preparation
1. Cut onion into medium slices and fry in a pan with butter and oil until golden brown.
2. Cut mushrooms and chicken into small pieces. Add mushrooms to the pan with the onion and fry for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the chicken and your favorite spices. Simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Pour cream into the pan and add mozzarella. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the cream thickens.
5. Transfer to baking dishes and add plenty of cheese on top.
6. Put in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 15 minutes. The cheese should melt well and a golden crust should appear.
