Cinnabons with a secret ingredient: the perfect recipe
A cup of hot tea with lemon combined with fragrant pastries is the perfect solution on a cold autumn evening. Few people can resist cinnabons, so every housewife should make these fluffy buns. Few people will be surprised by a classic recipe, but pumpkin cinnabons are a different matter.
Nutritionist Anna Kopus shared her recipe for pumpkin cinnabons. It was published on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- Cottage cheese - 180 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Baked pumpkin - 50 g
- Dried apricots - 30 g
- Rice flour - 50 g
- Wheat flour - 50 g
- Corn flour - 50 g
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Sweetener - 1 tbsp.
- Vanilla
- Cinnamon
- Salt
For the filling:
- Butter or Ghee - 30 g
- Cinnamon
- Sweetener.
For the fondant:
- Greek yogurt/soft cottage cheese - 100 g
- Baked pumpkin - 100 g
- Vanilla
Method of preparation:
- For the dough, beat the soft ingredients with the sweetener. Mix flour and baking powder separately. Combine two masses and knead the dough. Put it in the refrigerator for 10 to 20 minutes.
- Mix the softened butter with cinnamon and sweetener.
- Roll out the thin dough. Spread with the filling and wrap in a roll.
- Cut into buns and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
- To make the fondant, mix all the ingredients and spread it on the finished cinnabons.
- Put in the refrigerator for a few hours and let it soak.
