Chocolate processed cheese in 15 minutes: perfect with bread and toast
Plain processed cheese, which is commonly added to a variety of salads, soups, and casseroles, can be made into a sweet version. The chocolate processed cheese is based on homemade fermented milk cheese, as well as cocoa and chocolate additives. It's perfect on toast and bread.
Food blogger Valeriia (yummy_pp_lera) shared a recipe for chocolate melted cheese on her Instagram page.
Ingredients for 700 g of finished cheese:
- homemade cottage cheese – 500 g
- eggs – 1 pc.
- butter – 50 g
- sugar – 50 g
- salt – a pinch
- baking soda – 1\2 tsp.
- cocoa – 20 g
- chocolate – 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the cottage cheese, egg, soft butter, sugar, salt, and baking soda with a blender until smooth.
2. Put the resulting mass in a water bath and cook, stirring, until it becomes liquid. It takes about 10 minutes.
3. Sift the cocoa into the finished mass, and add the chocolate. Stir until smooth.
4. Pour the future cheese into a container, cover it with foil, and let cool. Store the finished processed cheese in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days.
