Chocolate pie with cherries: we tell you how to make it fluffy and tender

This dessert recipe is dedicated to everyone who loves chocolate and cherries. This perfect combination of ingredients simply drives you crazy with its incredible taste. Moreover, this cake will become a real magic wand when you don't have much time to prepare something delicious for coffee.

Food blogger Lisa Glinska shared how to make a chocolate cherry pie on Instagram. Even a schoolboy can make this recipe.

Ingredients for the cherry filling

  • Pitted cherries - 300 gr
  • Sugar - 50 gr
  • Corn starch - 20 g
  • Thin bean - 1 pc (optional)

Ingredients for the sponge cake

  • Yolk - 5 pcs + 50 grams of sugar
  • Sugar - 100 gr
  • Protein - 5 pcs
  • Flour - 110 gr
  • Cocoa powder - 30 gr
  • Dark chocolate - 70 g

The way of preparation

1.Prepare the filling. Grate the bean thinly and add to the cherries.

2.Mix the sugar with the cornstarch, add to the cherries and stir.

3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 30 seconds and remove from heat. Let it cool completely.

4. Prepare the sponge cake. Beat the egg yolks with sugar.

5. Beat the whites with sugar until stiff peaks form.

6. Combine the whites and yolks.

7. Mix the flour and cocoa. Using a sieve, add to the main mass in small portions. Mix gently.

8. Add the chocolate and mix.

9. Put half of the dough into a d26 cm baking dish.

10. Put the filling and cover with the second half of the dough.

11. Bake in a preheated 170-degree oven with convection for 35-40 minutes.

12. Let cool completely, decorate with cocoa and remove from the mold.
