Chocolate custard Easter: a recipe tested over the years
It's time to get ready for Easter. And today we have a recipe for you that has been tested over the years.
Chocolate custard Easter cake
Ingredients:
– cottage cheese 5% - 500 g.
– eggs - 3 pcs.
– cane sugar - 20 g
– cream 15% - 100 ml
– milk 2.5% - 100 ml
– ground nuts - to your taste
– cocoa powder - 2-2.5 tbsp
– orange zest - 4 tbsp
– vanilla - to taste
Method of preparation:
– All ingredients should be at room temperature. Line the Easter cake pan with cheesecloth in advance. Grind the cottage cheese.
– Beat eggs with sugar (not too much), add vanilla, cream, and milk, and mix.
– Cook the mixture over low heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly. Do not bring to a boil!
– Remove from heat, add half the cocoa powder and stir.
– Mix the cottage cheese with the egg-cream mixture until smooth, add the orange zest, the remaining half of the cocoa powder, and the nuts.
– Put the resulting mass into a cake pan, put it under a load, and put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
– Decorate the finished Easter cake as desired.
