Chicken liver is a healthy and tasty product that can be the basis for preparing many original and satisfying dishes, ranging from snack cakes, and pancakes, to delicious pates, pies, and dumpling fillings.

Chef Yevheniia Karpiuk shared a recipe for a delicious liver pate with pumpkin on Instagram, which you can prepare very quickly.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver – 600 g
  • pumpkin – 300 g
  • onion – 1 pc
  • garlic – 2 cloves
  • cranberries – 100 g
  • butter – 50 g
  • salt, pepper – to taste
  • fresh parsley – 10 g

Method of preparation:

1. Wash and boil the liver.

2. Dice the pumpkin and boil in salted water.

3. Dice the onion and fry in butter.

4. Add the chopped garlic, cranberries, and parsley, and fry together for another 5 minutes.

5. Put all the ingredients in a blender and grind until smooth.

6. Season with salt and pepper and put in a jar.

7. Melt the butter and pour the pate over the top, refrigerate.
