Chicken, apple and prune salad: the best alternative to Olivier and Shuba
If you're tired of the usual Olivier and Shuba, you should experiment with flavors and make a new salad. A great option would be to combine chicken, apple, and prunes in one dish. The salad is dressed with mayonnaise and, despite this, it turns out very light and tender.
The idea of cooking a salad with chicken, apple and prunes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Symonchuk (cook_julija_simonchuk).
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 100 g
- apple - 1-2 pieces
- hard cheese - 80 g
- dried prunes - 50 g
- walnuts - 30 g
- garlic - 3 cloves
- salt, pepper, mayonnaise - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. The first layer is boiled and chopped chicken, salted and peppered, squeezed garlic and a little chopped nuts. Make a mayonnaise mesh on top.
2. Then add peeled and diced apple and mayonnaise mesh again.
3. Next, add chopped prunes and some nuts and then mayonnaise mesh again.
4. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
5. Garnish with herbs, prunes or nuts.
