Cherry pie with liquid dough – clafoutis: sharing the secret of a delicious dessert
Clafoutis is a popular French dessert made with liquid dough and a delicious berry filling. It is very easy to prepare and baked in two stages.
Chef Nataliia Yemizina shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious cherry pie with liquid dough – clafoutis – that will be the perfect tea treat.
Ingredients:
- frozen cherries – 300 g
- milk – 300 ml
- sugar – 80 g
- eggs – 3 pcs
- flour – 80 g
- salt – a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Defrost the cherries and drain the juice.
2. Dough: put the milk, flour, eggs, sugar, and salt in the bowl of a blender and whisk.
3. Strain the finished dough through a sieve to avoid lumps.
4. Preheat the oven.
5. Grease a baking dish with butter, pour in a little dough, and place in the oven for a few minutes until the dough has set.
6. Next, take out the mold and add a layer of cherries, sprinkle with sugar, and pour the dough over it, put in the oven and cook for about 1 hour.
The finished cake is best served with tea.
