Canned peaches in syrup: a pitted and sterilized recipe
Canned peaches for the winter are really the best way to prepare fruit for the winter. They keep well and are ideal for baking and desserts. The peaches themselves keep their shape perfectly, and remain crispy and juicy at the same time.
Food blogger Vitalia (vitala_foodblog) shared a recipe for canned peaches for the winter on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- peaches - 2 kg
- sugar - 400 g
- water - 1 liter
- citric acid - 2 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. First you need to wash and cut the peaches into pieces.
2. Fill the sterile jars with peaches.
3. To make the syrup, mix water, sugar and citric acid. Put on the fire, bring to a boil and boil for a few minutes.
4. Fill the jars with the finished syrup.
5. Seal the jars with sterile lids. Turn the jars upside down and cover with something warm. Leave to cool completely.
