1. Corn with aspirin and sugar

Ingredients:

  • Corn cobs - 10 pcs.
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp. 
  • Salt - 1-1.5 tbsp. 
  • Vinegar 9% - 2 tbsp.
  • Aspirin - optional

Method of preparation:

  1. First, peel the corn from the leaves, and husks (but do not throw them away) and plant hair. Wash it well with cold water.
  2. Put the same leaves on the bottom of a large saucepan so that the corn does not burn during cooking.
  3. Put the corn on top, add 4 tbsp of sugar, do not add salt, cover with water, bring to a boil, and cook for another 25-30 minutes.
  4. Then put them in ice water for 10 minutes, during which time the water should be changed 3-4 times.
  5. Cut it off with a sharp knife, put it in pre-sterilized jars, add salt and sugar on top, pour hot water, and put the jars on the stove.
  6. Put them in a large saucepan and cook until they boil, then for another 1 hour, then pour vinegar into each jar, remove from the stove, and preserve immediately.
  7. Turn them upside down, wrap them in a warm cloth, and let them cool completely.

Ingredients:

  • Corn cobs - 8-10 pcs.
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp.
  • Salt - 1 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
  • Water - 1 liter

Method of preparation:

  1. Peel the corn from the leaves, and cook for about 30-40 minutes.
  2. Sterilize the jars in any convenient way.
  3. Put the cooked corn in cold water for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Then cut it off and put it in jars.
  5. Marinade: pour water into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, lemon juice, and bring to a boil.
  6. Pour the hot marinade into the jars and preserve immediately.
