At the same time, not every housewife wants to spend all day at the stove preparing such a cake. So they buy a ready-made one in the store.
Homemade pastries are many times tastier, and it's quite possible to make Napoleon in just 30 minutes.
The recipe for the quick Napoleon cake was shared by a food blogger with the nickname tomka_recepti. It was posted on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Ears biscuits - 420 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.
- Starch - 3 tbsp.
- Milk - 700 ml
- Butter - 90 g
- Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs, sugar and starch until smooth.
2. Heat the milk until hot, add a little egg mass.
3. Pour the entire egg mixture.
4. Put on the fire and stirring constantly, cook until thickened.
5. Add vanilla sugar and butter to the warm cream.
6. Cover with cling film.
7. Layer the cookies and cream. Sprinkle with crumbs on top.
8. Leave for 1 hour at room temperature, then refrigerate for several hours.

Ingredients:
Dough:
- Butter - 200 g
- Flour - 200 g
- Beer - 50 ml
- Salt - a pinch
Cream:
- Milk - 1200 ml
- Wheat flour - 50 g
- Corn starch - 40 g
- Sugar - 150 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Yolks - 3 pcs.
- White chocolate - 120 g
- Vanilla sugar - 10 g
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: sift 200 g of flour, add grated butter, salt and 50 ml of beer, mix well with your hands.
2. Transfer to a plate and chop with a knife.
3. Use your hands to form a roll and cut into slices.
4. Roll into balls, sprinkle with a little flour and refrigerate for 1 hour.
5. Afterwards, roll them out well so that they are very thin and put them in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
6. Cream: heat the milk in a saucepan.
7. Beat two egg whites and 3 yolks, add sugar and beat well, add vanilla sugar, mix again.
8. Pour in a little milk, add flour and starch, mix well.
9. As soon as the milk boils, pour in a thin stream of the prepared egg mixture and stir until thick.
10. Then add the white chocolate, stir into the finished cream and cover with cling film.
11. Assemble the cake: put the cream on top of the first layer and press down well with a mold.
12. Sprinkle the remaining edges on the cake.
13. You can even eat the finished dessert right away, but it is better to refrigerate it for a few hours.
The secrets of making homemade Napoleon cake
- If you are making homemade cakes, it is recommended to sift the flour several times. This way, the dough will be fluffy and the cake itself will be more tender and tasty.
- It is best to choose high-fat butter for baking. This also determines how fluffy the dough will be.
- Before baking, make at least a few punctures on the surface of the cakes. This way, they will bake evenly and have the same shape.
- The longer the cake soaks, the juicier and tastier it will be.
