It's worth noting that there are many variations of this salad, with different sauces and different ingredients. For example, fish, seafood, bacon are often added instead of chicken, and plain mayonnaise is used instead of the classic sauce, which spoils the taste of the dish.

  • Romaine lettuce - 8 leaves
  • white bread - 4 pieces

For the dressing:

  • anchovies - 8 pcs.

  • olive oil - 30 ml
  • Parmesan cheese - 2 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves.

  • egg yolk - 1 pc.
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp.

1. Wash lettuce leaves and dry them on a paper towel.

3. For the dressing, finely chop anchovies, add chopped garlic and Worcestershire sauce, add egg yolk and oil, and whisk thoroughly.
