Ingredients:

  • medium cabbage - 1 head
  • minced meat - 500 g
  • rice - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • carrots - 1 pc
  • onion - 1 pc
  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • salt and pepper

  • sour cream - 3 tbsp
  • ketchup - 3 tbsp
  • water - 1 cup
  • salt, pepper, bay leaves

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the rice until half cooked.

2. Put the cabbage in the microwave at 900w for 10-15 minutes (note that the time depends on what kind of cabbage and microwave you have; it should turn out soft).

3. Divide the cooled cabbage into leaves and cut off the hard part lightly.

4. Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil.

5. Mix the ingredients for the minced meat: eggs, rice, frying oil, salt, and pepper.

6. Roll up the cabbage rolls, put them in a baking dish, pour the prepared dressing so that the rolls are completely covered. If not enough, you can add water. Also, add a bay leaf.

7. Cover the top with the remaining cabbage leaves, then cover with a lid or foil and put in a preheated 200-degree oven for 1.5-2 hours.
