Budget apple pancakes on kefir: the dough is very fluffy
Pancakes are an ideal snack or hearty breakfast. If you don't want to add sugar to the dough, make an apple-based frying mixture. The products will not be too high in calories, but still sweet enough.
The idea of making classic apple pancakes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Brailo (ketiv_). Make the dough with kefir.
Ingredients:
- apples - 2 medium
- chicken egg - 1 pc.
- kefir - 50 ml (2.5% thick)
- flour: wheat 2 tbsp + coconut 1 tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp (can be omitted)
- cinnamon - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and grate the apples on a coarse grater.
2. Add the egg (you can beat it separately and add it to the apples).
3. Then add the kefir and baking powder/cinnamon.
4. Mix everything well with a spoon.
5. Fry in a preheated frying pan, brushed with coconut oil or ghee, over low heat on both sides under a lid.
6. Serve with walnut paste.
