Broken Glass cake, which is made with jelly and does not require baking, is one of our favorite desserts. And to make a summer version of this delicacy, you only need to add one seasonal ingredient - strawberries. It turns out to be very tasty and easy.

Food blogger Yulia (cooking_by_yuliya) shared a recipe for the popular Broken Glass jelly cake with strawberries on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • jelly (three types are needed)
  • 20% sour cream - 500 g
  • gelatin - 20 g
  • fruit
  • sugar
  • vanilla sugar
  • crackers

Method of preparation:

1. Make the jelly in advance as indicated on the package.

2. Pour water over the gelatin and wait for it to swell.

3. Add vanilla sugar to the sour cream and, if desired, sugar. Mix well.

4. Meanwhile, heat the gelatin and pour it into the sour cream.

5. Pre-prepare the fruit and jelly by cutting everything into cubes. Add to the sour cream along with the crackers and mix. Put into the mold and leave in the refrigerator for a while.

6. When the jelly has hardened, put the sliced strawberries on top and pour the red jelly over. Leave to freeze completely.
