Singer Nataliia Mohylevska shared a recipe for a simple breakfast. She posted the chia pudding recipe on her Instagram page.
"I'm sharing my favorite recipe: chia seeds, oat milk, agave syrup, and berries," Mohylevska wrote.
The FoodOboz editorial team tells you how to prepare this dish. We warn you right away: chia pudding can be made not only with oat milk. You can use cow's milk, coconut milk, almond milk, rice milk, or any other vegetable milk. Yogurt or kefir is also suitable for cooking. In addition, you can "play" with additives by adding nuts, coconut, cinnamon, cocoa powder, or other spices and herbs. This way, you'll have a new breakfast every day.
You will need:
- milk – 300 ml
- Chia seeds – 3 tbsp
- agave syrup, honey, or jam – to taste
- favorite fruits or berries
How to cook:
- Pour milk into a half-liter jar. Add chia seeds, and mix well. Leave at room temperature for about 30 minutes so that the seeds swell slightly: to ensure that the dessert hardens evenly and does not flake, it should not be put in the refrigerator immediately.
- After half an hour, stir again: this will distribute the chia seeds in the milk, and the pudding will thicken evenly.
- Close the lid and put it in the refrigerator overnight. During this time, the mixture should thicken well and become jelly-like.
- In the morning, take it out, put it in glasses, add agave syrup, jam, or honey, and garnish with your favorite fruits and berries.
