Better than "Vinegret": a healthy beet salad for every day
Beetsalads are the best dish for a light lunch and even dinner. It is worth noting that beets combine well with onions, prunes, raisins, spices, garlic, sour cream and vegetables.
Cook Anatolii Dobrovolskyi shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and healthy salad from beets, with prunes and nuts.
Ingredients:
- Boiled or baked beets - 500 g
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- Walnuts - 80 g
- Prunes - 150 g
- Salt - to taste
- Sour cream - 200 g
- Herbs - for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Bake beets, peel and grate, add apple cider vinegar and mix.
2. Pour boiling water over the prunes, drain and chop them.
3. Toast the nuts in a dry pan and chop them finely, add them to the beets.
4. Add salt, sugar, sour cream, mix.
When serving, sprinkle the salad with chopped greens.
