Better than sponge cake: fluffy plum pie for tea
Pies are a dish that everyone loves. They can be made from completely different ingrediends. As for the fillings, they can be made from berries, fruit, cottage cheese, as well as salty ones like cabbage, meat, mushrooms, cheese, fish, seafood.
Cook Anastasia shared a recipe for a delicious plum pie, which will be the perfect dessert for tea, on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- flour - 330 g
- sour cream - 100 g
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- butter - 180 g
- sugar - 180 g
- vanilla sugar - to taste
- salt - a pinch
- baking powder - 1.5 tsp.
The filling:
- plums - 6-7 pcs.
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp.
- sugar - 1/2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cover the mold with parchment, grease with oil and sprinkle with flour.
2. For the batter, combine butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt, mix with a spoon and beat with a mixer.
3. Add the eggs one at a time and beat for 1 minute each time.
4. Add sour cream, whisk, add sifted flour and baking powder, mix with a spoon and beat with a mixer until the batter is light, about 1 minute.
5. Wash the plums. Remove the pits and cut the fruit.
6. Pour the batter into the mold, top with the plum halves, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
7. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
