Better than pies: puff pastry buns with pear and cheese for tea
Puff pastry is an ideal product for making pies with various fillings. The main advantage of this dough is that you don't have to cook it, you can just buy it, defrost it properly and add any filling.
Cook Anna shared a recipe for delicious puff pastry buns with pears and cheese, honey, and nuts on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- puff pastry - 500 g
- pears - 2-3 pcs.
- egg - 1 pc.
- Camembert or brie cheese - 1/2 pc.
- honey
- marked nuts
Method of preparation:
1. Defrost the puff pastry.
2. Cut pears into slices, brie/camembert cheese into slices.
3. Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal pieces, roll each one out to fit the pears. Brush with a beaten egg, place the pear slices, top with a few slices of cheese, and sprinkle with nuts.
4. Bake for 20 minutes at 190 C.
Drizzle the buns with honey and you're ready to eat!
