Better than pies: delicious homemade samosa with mushrooms and minced meat

Samosa is an ideal dish for those who like pies buns, but it is easier to prepare. All you need to do is buy puff pastry and prepare a delicious filling, for example, with mushrooms and meat.

What to cook with mushrooms

Cook Victoria shared a recipe for homemade samosa with a delicious mushroom and minced meat filling on Instagram.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry - 500 g
  • minced meat - 250 g
Minced meat for the filling
  • onion - 1 pc.

  • mushrooms - 200 g
Fresh mushrooms
  • butter - 30 g
  • salt, pepper, dry garlic - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Heat oil in a frying pan.

2. Cut the onion into small cubes and put it in the pan. Fry until it turns brown.

3. Wash and chop the mushrooms, add them to the onions and fry over medium heat for 7 minutes.

4. Then add the minced meat, salt, and pepper, and cook for about 10 minutes.

5. Defrost the dough and roll it out 0.5 cm thick.

How to cook samosa correctly

6. Put the filling inside together with a slice of cheese and gently cover with another piece of dough to form a triangle. Pinch the edges with a fork.

How long to bake

7. Brush with a beaten egg, place on a baking sheet and bake at 210-220 C  for 15-20 minutes.

Sprinkle the hot samosa with grated cheese and serve!
