One of the most delicious and delicate summer desserts is panna cotta. It's worth noting that the Italian Piedmont is the birthplace of this delicious dessert made of cream, sugar, gelatin, and vanilla. The dessert is very easy to prepare, you just need to choose high-quality, fresh cream and berries.

Cook Olha shared a recipe for a delicious, light, moderately sweet dessert with strawberries - panna cotta - that you can prepare in just 10 minutes on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • cream (from 33%) - 500 ml
  • milk - 210 ml
  • sugar - 130 g
  • gelatin - 15 g
  • cold water - 65 ml
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet

Sauce:

  • strawberries - 400 g
  • sugar - 2 tbsp (can be without)

Method of preparation:⠀

1. Pour cream into a small saucepan and add milk. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and mix well. Put on medium heat and heat well but do not boil.

2. Remove from the stove.

3. Pour water over gelatin and let stand for 10 minutes.

4. Then add to the hot cream and milk mixture and mix well to dissolve the gelatin completely.

5. Let the mixture cool to room temperature and pour into glasses.

6. Leave in the refrigerator for a few hours to set the dessert.

7. For the sauce, blend fresh washed strawberries with sugar in a blender.

8. Before serving, pour the strawberry sauce over the panna cotta and garnish with mint.
