Better than cheesecakes: sweet cottage cheese balls for breakfast in 10 minutes
If you like cheesecakes but they don't always turn out well, try making a great alternative – cottage cheese balls. They are much easier to prepare, you just need to knead the right dough and fry it properly.
Cook Iryna Kharchyshina shared a recipe for delicious cottage cheese balls on Instagram, which are very tasty and not greasy.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 300 g
- flour – 300 g
- sugar – 100 g
- eggs – 2 pcs
- baking soda – 0.5 tsp
- salt – a pinch
- sunflower oil for frying – 500 ml
- Powdered sugar for sprinkling – 2 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Mix flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt, sift everything.
2. Beat the eggs and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Then add the cottage cheese and mix well.
3. Add a little flour and knead the dough, it should not stick to your hands.
4. Use your hands to form balls the size of walnuts.
5. Pour the oil into a saucepan, heat well, and fry the balls over medium heat, stirring them from time to time. The balls should float freely in the saucepan, keep in mind that they will increase in size during frying.
6. Put the finished balls on a paper towel to drain all the excess fat.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
