Better than charlotte: how to make a delicious apple pie
Apple pies are the perfect seasonal pastry for a family tea party. Right now you can find a wide variety of juicy fruits for the filling. It is a good idea to make this popular pie.
The idea of making apple pie was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia (yuliia.senych). The dough turns out to be very loose.
Ingredients:
- flour - 250 g
- semolina - 250 g
- a glass of sugar - 250 g
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- butter for the top layer - 70 g
Ingredients for the filling:
- apples - 13-15 pcs
- poppy seeds, almond flakes, raisins - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Combine flour, semolina and sugar with baking powder and vanilla sugar.
2. Separately, grate the apples on a coarse grater and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent them from darkening.
3. Add raisins to the apples, if desired.
4. Pour 1 cup of the dry ingredients into a baking dish covered with parchment.
5. Next, a layer of apples and almond flakes, then again a dry layer and so on until the end.
6. The top layer must be the dry one.
7. Grate the butter on top and sprinkle with sugar.
8. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
