Better than Bird's milk: how to make a delicious dessert without baking
If you love Bird's Milk, you will definitely like this dessert recipe. Simply put, it's a simple dessert made from sour cream, cocoa, and gelatin that doesn't require baking. The result is something very similar to mousse: very tender and airy.
Food blogger Yulia Mikulich shared a recipe for no-bake sour cream, chocolate and gelatin dessert on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- 20-30% sour cream - 400 g
- powdered sugar - 100 g
- powdered gelatin - 8 g
- water - 50 g
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 15 g
Method of preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over gelatin and wait for it to swell.
2. Mix sour cream with powdered sugar and beat with a mixer until completely dissolved.
3. Divide the sour cream into two parts.
4. Add cocoa to one part of the sour cream. Whisk the mass until smooth.
5. Heat the ready gelatin slightly in the microwave. Then divide it into two parts.
6. Add one part of the gelatin to the chocolate mousse. Whisk well.
7. Add the rest of the gelatin to the light mass. Beat until smooth.
8. Pour the light and chocolate mousse into a glass, alternating the two masses.
9. Leave the dessert to cool in the refrigerator.
