Better than a cake: a light berry dessert with cream and chocolate according to Olha Matvii's recipe
If you don't have time to make a cake, you can simplify things and make an equally delicious dessert from the same ingredients, only faster. It's worth noting that desserts made from chocolate, rum, and berries, for example, will not be inferior to even the most delicious cake.
Cook Olha Matvii shared on her YouTube channel a recipe for a light berry dessert made from berries, two types of cream, chocolate, and cookies.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- Butter – 100 g
- Flour – 150 g
- Eggs – 1 pc
- Sour cream – 1 tbsp
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Spices for gingerbread cookies – 2 tsp
Cream 1:
- White of 1 egg
- Powdered sugar – 3 tbsp
- Mascarpone – 125 g
- Milk chocolate – 200 g
- Cream 30% – 50 ml
- Fruits and berries for decoration
- Any jam – 50 g
Cream 2:
- Protein – 3 pcs
- Sugar – 100 g
- Powdered sugar – 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Add baking powder and spices to the flour.
2. Grate the butter, and add to this mixture.
3. Add the egg and sour cream, knead the dough, and wrap it in plastic wrap for 20 minutes.
4. Whisk the egg whites, add the powdered sugar, continue whisking, and add the mascarpone.
5. Grease a baking dish with oil, spread the dough with your hands, and divide the rest of the dough into 9 balls, put them on a baking sheet, and bake all these pieces at 180 C for 12 minutes.
6. Cool them and remove them from the molds.
7. Melt the chocolate with the cream.
8. Break the biscuits, put them in portioned bowls, put the cream and chocolate, decorate the baskets, put a little jam on the bottom, and top with whipped egg whites cream with sugar, and powder.
Garnish with berries.
