Beef tartare: recipe for the most popular French appetizer

Tartare is an appetizer that came to us from France. According to the classic recipe, this dish is made from beef, shallots, capers, olives, olive oil, and some other ingredients. But in the modern world, there are many other ways to prepare it.

Ingredients

  • beef tenderloin
  • shallots
  • capers
  • hot sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • capers
  • dijon mustard
  • ketchup
  • salt

The method of preparation

1. Wash the meat and dry it with a towel. Cut it into small pieces.

2. Finely chop all other ingredients as well.

3. Put everything in a deep bowl.

4. Prepare the sauce from the remaining ingredients and mix well.

5. Pour the sauce over the tartare and mix well again.

6. Put the tartare in a ring mold, remove it and serve.
