Beans are a very tasty and satisfying product that can be used to make mashed potatoes, fillings for pies, pies, and dumplings, and they are also a great addition to salads. It's worth noting that beans make great hummus; you just need to add lemon juice and garlic.
Nutritionist Anna Kopus shared a recipe for delicious and nutritious bean hummus on Instagram, which is very simple and quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
- boiled beans – 300 g
- tahini (sesame paste) – 50 g
- olive oil – 30 g
- lemon juice – 1/2 pc
- paprika, cumin, thyme, salt – to taste
- garlic – 1 clove
- water – 50-100 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the beans overnight, then rinse and boil until tender.
2. Then put them in a blender and blend until smooth.
3. Add the lemon juice, tahini, spices, garlic and whisk again.
4. Put the finished hummus on a plate, drizzle with aromatic oil, and sprinkle with paprika.
Serve hummus with vegetables and bread.
