Basic homemade cream cheese: you need only 3 ingredients
Cream cheese is a great base for a variety of quick appetizers. You can buy this product in the store, but it is a much more budget-friendly idea to make it at home. You only need 3 ingredients.

Recipe for creamy cream cheese on sour cream

Ingredients:
- sour cream – 200 g
- salt – 1/3 tsp
- lemon juice – 1/2 tsp

Method of preparation:
1. Add salt and lemon juice to sour cream of 15-25% fat content. Mix well.
2. Put a sieve in a deep bowl, with cheesecloth folded 4 times on top.

3. Pour the sour cream into the cheesecloth and tie it into a knot so that all the sour cream is inside.
4. You can also put a press on top.

5. Put in the refrigerator overnight (for 10-12 hours).
