Ingredients for a cupcake for a 25x18 cm mold

  • Banana - 300 gr
  • Cane sugar - 100 gr
  • Butter - 100 gr
  • Milk - 80 ml
  • Eggs - 2 pcs
  • Flour - 200 gr
  • Baking powder - 6 gr
  • Salt - 1 g
  • Vanilla sugar

Ingredients for caramel sauce

  • Sugar - 4 tbsp
  • Cream 30-35% - 220 ml
  • Salt - 2 gr
  • Butter 82% - 30 g

The way of preparation

1.First, prepare the cupcake. Put the bananas in a large bowl and use a fork to mash them with small pieces of bananas. Add brown sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix well.

2. Add the eggs, milk and melted butter and mix again.

3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and add to the banana mixture. Mix the dough thoroughly with a whisk to avoid lumps.

4. Take the mold, grease it with butter, and put parchment on the bottom.

5. Pour the batter into the mold and smooth it out.

6. Put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees with convection for about 30-35 minutes. Check the readiness with a toothpick or wooden skewer.

7. Prepare the caramel sauce. Put the saucepan on the stove and pour the sugar into it. Wait until it turns into caramel.

8. Heat the cream until it is steaming in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove.

9. Stir the sugar with a heat-resistant spatula. You should get a beautiful, brown caramel.

10. Reduce the temperature and gradually pour in the hot cream, stirring constantly with a spatula. Remove the saucepan from the stove.

11. Add salt and butter. Stir to combine. The sauce is ready.

12. While the cupcake is still hot, take a wooden skewer or sushi stick and pierce our cupcake all over the place every 1-2 cm.

13. Pour the warm caramel sauce over the hot cupcake. Leave it at room temperature for 1 hour so that it is well soaked.

14. Take the roasted walnuts and sprinkle them on the pie.
