Baked stuffed potatoes: how to cook a familiar dish in a new way
Baked potatoes in the oven are a traditional holiday dish that can be prepared in a new way. Potatoes can be additionally stuffed with cheese, minced meat, and even mushrooms. For extra tenderness, you can add sauce or sour cream.
Food blogger Olena Sagun shared a recipe for baked stuffed potatoes with mushrooms on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc
- mushrooms - 100-120 g
- sour cream 20-30% - 3 tbsp.
- herbs
- salt, pepper
- butter (for greasing the mold)
- cheese\goat cheese (optional)
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes and boil them whole in salted water.
2. Meanwhile, chop the mushrooms and onions. Fry the onions first until golden brown, then add the mushrooms and fry until tender.
3. When the potatoes are cooked, remove them from the water, but do not pour out the water, they will be needed.
4. Remove the flesh from one side of the potatoes with a spoon, making a depression. Put the potatoes in a mold, greased with butter.
5. For the filling, mix the potato flesh, onions with mushrooms, sour cream, herbs, a few tablespoons of water in which the potatoes were boiled, as well as salt and pepper. Mix well.
6. Spread the filling into the hollows of the potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
7. Bake the potatoes at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
