Baked potatoes with smoked lard and teriyaki sauce for a hearty lunch: recipe from the chef
If you do not know what to cook for dinner, choose potatoes - it is always a win-win option, because firstly, this product is "friendly" with all spices and products, and it is hearty and elementary in cooking. It can be boiled, baked, stewed with meat, make delicious mashed potatoes, "ships" with lard, cook aromatic potatoes in a rural way, as well as added to pies, make zrazy, gratin, dumplings and even stuffed cabbage.
But do not forget that this product, despite all its positive properties, is also caloric. Experts recommend eating it 2-3 times a week, in baked form and, best of all, for lunch.
Cook Anatoliy Dobrovolskiy shared in Instagram the recipe of a very tasty dish - baked potatoes with smoked lard and teriyaki sauce for a hearty lunch (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 1 kg
- Teriyaki sauce - 3 tbsp.
- Olive oil - 4 tbsp.
- Smoked lard - 200-300 g
- Green onions for serving - 30 g
- Salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Wash, peel potatoes, cut into 0.5 cm slices.
2. Transfer to a large bowl.
3. Add salt, pepper, and sauce and stir to combine.
4. Cut the skin off the lard and slice it into thin slices.
5. From a double layer of foil, make "ships" and alternate the lard and potatoes.
6. Put in the oven and cook for about 30-40 minutes at 170 C.
7. Pour sauce over the finished dish again and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
