Baked potatoes in a new way: which autumn fruit to add
If you're tired of the usual baked potatoes, you can easily prepare them in a new way. Quince, a great fall superfood, will perfectly complement the dish. Light notes of quince, moderate sharpness of onion, original taste of celery, and fragrant spices are something new.
The recipe for baked potatoes with quince was shared by the famous Ukrainian TV presenter and journalist Konstantyn Hrubych on his YouTube channel.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 1 kg
- quince – 400 g
- celery (root) – 500 g
- red onion – 3 pcs
- thyme\rosemary\oregano
- oil – 3 tbsp
- salt, pepper, spices
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the potatoes into quarters.
2. Cut the onion into quarters.
3. Chop the celery randomly.
4. Peel and core the quince and cut it into medium-sized pieces.
5. Put all the prepared products in a baking dish covered with parchment. Add salt, pepper, spices. Stir to combine.
6. Drizzle with oil and mix again by hand.
7. Bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
