Baked potatoes and sweet potatoes: how to make a versatile avocado sauce
Guacamole is a popular avocado-based dish that goes well on its own or as a spread or sauce. On its own, guacamole is very fresh and light, and therefore ideal for baked vegetables such as potatoes or sweet potatoes.
Food blogger Kateryna (katyamull) shared a recipe for guacamole for baked potatoes and sweet potatoes on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- avocado – 2 pcs
- garlic – 3 cloves
- onion – 1\4 pcs
- lemon juice – 2 tsp
- tomatoes – 1 pc
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the avocado from the skin and core. Mash with a fork.
2. Chop the tomatoes, garlic and onions.
3. Mix the avocado flesh and vegetables.
4. Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
5. Add spices.
