Baked peppers appetizer: a quick recipe for a snack
Sweet peppers are one of the best vegetables for making delicious salads, snacks, sauces, and soups. Sweet peppers can also be deliciously preserved with spices and vegetables.
Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe for a delicious sweet pepper appetizer on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Bell peppers – 3 pcs.
- Wine vinegar – 1-2 tbsp.
- Oregano – 1/2 tsp.
- Basil – 1/2 tsp.
- Garlic – 2 cloves.
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp.
- Almonds – a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the peppers in half and bake on parchment until tender. Remove from the oven and place in a slider bag for 10-15 minutes to allow the peel to separate easily from the peppers.
2. Cut the prepared pepper into strips, add chopped garlic, wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, oregano and basil.
Serve sprinkled with chopped nuts.
