Autumn mini-pizzas in the shape of pumpkins: how to make an atmospheric dish
Autumn is always associated with warmth, homemade cakes, and pumpkins. And all of this can be combined in one dish. It's a great idea to make fluffy mini-pizzas in the shape of pumpkins. Inside is a traditional filling.
The idea of making pumpkin mini-pizzas was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeriia Velihura (yummy.lera). The main thing is to make a fluffy dough.
Ingredients for the dough:
- flour – 450-500 g
- live or dry yeast – 15 g
- sugar – 30 g
- salt – a pinch
- milk – 200 ml
- eggs – 1 pc
- butter – 300 g
- vegetable oil – 30 ml
Ingredients for the filling:
- tomato sauce
- salami
- a lot of cheese
How to make the dough:
1. Sift 300 g of flour into a deep bowl, add sugar, salt, yeast and mix.
2. Combine warm milk, egg, melted butter, and oil in a separate bowl.
3. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
4. Gradually sift in the remaining flour and knead a soft, elastic dough (you can use more or less flour). The main thing is not to overwork the dough, it should be very soft.
5. Put it in a deep bowl, cover it with cling film, a towel, and put it in a warm place for 30-40 minutes. ⠀
6. Assemble the pizza rolls: knead the dough that has risen, divide it into 12 pieces, and roll each into a circle.
7. Put the filling in the center and pinch the edges well.
8. Shape the pumpkins with a string.
9. Put the pizza buns on a baking sheet with parchment, cover them with cling film, a towel, and put them in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
10. Then bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 20 minutes.
