Autumn hot lagman for a hearty lunch: a simple recipe
Lagman is a hearty, tasty dish, the basis of which is meat, in the classic version - veal. Noodles, vegetables and spices will certainly give a special flavor to the dish. The dish takes about 2-3 hours to cook, it all depends on the meat.
Culinarian Valentyna Saenko shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious lagman with veal, mixed vegetables, garlic and spices, which would be a great hot dish on a cold fall day.
Ingredients:
- Veal - 700 g
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Celery stalk - 2 pcs.
- Bell pepper - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 4 cloves.
- Chili pepper - to taste
- Zira - one teaspoon tip.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Dry Ajika - 1 tsp.
- Coriander - a teaspoonful of coriander
- Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.
- Flour - 1 tbsp.
- Broth or water - 1 liter
- Herbs (cilantro, parsley, green onion) for serving
- Noodles
Preparation method:⠀
1. Cut meat into small cubes and fry until crusty in a pan, then transfer to a pot, pour broth and stew for 1 hour on low heat.
2- Chop the vegetables and fry for about 5 minutes. Add the pasta, flour, garlic, spices and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir and add the stock, braise for another 2 minutes and pour the vegetables into the meat, salt and braise for another 15-20 minutes.
3. Serve with the noodles, sprinkled generously with herbs.
