Apricot jam in a skillet in 15 minutes: perfectly preserved for the winter
You can make delicious apricot jam for the winter in just 15 minutes. All you need is an ordinary frying pan. The mass is quite thick, moderately sweet and with a slight sourness.
The idea of making apricot jam in a frying pan was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia Shemelina (nastya shemelina9). It is delicious to eat simply on bread.
Ingredients:
- apricots - 2 jars with a slide of 0.5 liters each
- sugar - 0.5 liters with a top and half a jar
- citric acid - 0.5 tsp. without a slide
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the apricots, pit them.
2. Cut into pieces.
3. Pour the apricots into a frying pan with a thick bottom (divide the amount of fruit into two portions so that everything is well cooked).
4. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
5. Then add sugar, cook for another 5 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly.
6. Add citric acid and cook for another minute.
7. Pour into sterilized jars and roll up the lids.
8. Allow to cool completely.
