Apple sinabons: a recipe for soft and moderately moist dough
Who didn't love airy and very juicy sugar-filled buns as a child? Sinabons, as they are also called, have become a world-famous sweet today and have won the hearts of all those with a sweet tooth.
Not everyone manages to achieve the perfect consistency of the dough and make it as fluffy as shown in the advertisement the first time. But there is one little secret that will help.
The idea was shared by food blogger tomka_recepti on Instagram. She advises baking cinnabon buns on apples. This way, the dough is soaked, moderately moist underneath, and very flavorful.
Ingredients:
- warm milk - 200 ml
- sugar - 140 g
- yeast - 25 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- flour - 600 g
- salt
For the apple base:
- sugar - 200 g
- butter - 300 g
- apples 6 pcs
For the filling:
- soft butter
- brown (or white) sugar
- cinnamon
Method of preparation:
1. Combine warm milk, sugar and yeast. Stir and leave until the so-called cap appears.
2. Add soft butter, beaten eggs, and salt. Mix well.
3. Add flour and knead the dough. Leave it to rise.
4. Meanwhile, prepare the apple base. Melt the sugar in a frying pan until caramelized. Add the butter and stir until smooth.
5. Peel and chop the apples. Add to the caramel and simmer for 3 minutes. Put into a baking dish.
6. Roll out the dough into a layer. Spread with melted butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Wrap in a roll and cut into portions with a thread.
7. Put the buns in the mold and leave for 15-20 minutes.
8. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
