Apple rings in dough in 20 minutes: how to make delicious pastries for tea

Apple rings are a delicious and simple pastry made from apples. They can be made in batter or puff pastry, and supplemented with cinnamon - a very tasty combination.

One of the culinary blogs (zhuravlina_cooking) published a recipe for puff pastry apple rings on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry - 500 g
  • large apples - 4 pcs
  • eggs - 1 pc
  • sugar - 90 g
  • cinnamon - 10-15 g

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the apples and cut them into rings 1.5-2 cm thick, cut out the middle (if desired, the skin on the apples can be peeled off).

2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 1.5 mm wide strips.

3. Wrap the apple rings with strips of dough.

4. Brush the rings with an egg, then dip them in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

5. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
