Apple pie without dough: better than charlotte
The peculiarity of the bulk pie is that it does not require kneading the dough. The dessert is based on loose crumbs, which are successfully combined with juicy apple filling. This makes the apple pie very flavorful, tender, and melts in your mouth.
On her YouTube channel Lilia Tsvit, the cook Lilia Tsvit shared a recipe for a bulk apple pie that doesn't require any dough to make. (To watch the video, scroll to the end of the news story).
Ingredients for an 18*18 centimeter baking dish:
glass - 250 ml
- flour - 1 cup - 140 g
- sugar - 3/4 cup - 140 g
- semolina - 1 cup - 160 g
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- van.sugar - 1 p
- apples - 1.5 kg of unpeeled (grated ~ 1200 g)
- butter - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. For a loose base, mix semolina, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and flour.
2. Divide the resulting mass into 4 equal parts.
3. At this stage, grate the apples.
4. Add cinnamon to the grated apples. Divide the resulting mass into 3 parts. By the way, do not pour out the juice from the apples, because you will need it for the dough.
5. Grease the mold with oil. Spread one part of the bulk mixture evenly.
6. Put one part of the apples. Tamp and shape the cake until you run out of ingredients. The top should be dry.
7. Grate cold butter on top of the pie.
8. Bake at 170 degrees for 1 hour.
