Apple pancakes like pies: pieces of fruit remain
Apples are the perfect budget-friendly filling for a variety of pastries. And if you don't have enough time to knead the dough, you can make pancakes. To keep the fruit in pieces, you need to caramelize it.
The idea of making sweet and juicy pancakes with apples was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tatiana Sheremet (tania_sheremet_).
Ingredients:
- eggs - 1 pc.
- sugar - 2-3 tbsp
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- kefir - 250 ml
- flour - 240 g
- oil for frying
Ingredients for the filling:
- apples - 2-3 pcs.
- sugar for caramel - 2-3 tbsp
- butter - 20-30 g
- cinnamon to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the apples, cut them into cubes.
2. In a frying pan, melt the sugar until amber in color, add the butter and cinnamon, and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring.
3. For the dough: break the eggs, add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, kefir, baking soda, stir, add flour, and mix until smooth.
4. Spoon the dough onto a preheated frying pan with oil, put the apples on top, cover with dough, and fry on both sides until cooked. Serve with sour cream.
