Liver cake is an ideal appetizer based on liver pancakes. It is very important to make a good dough, without lumps, and a delicious filling. Garlic and herbs will add spice to the dish.

Cook Anastasia shared a recipe for a delicious liver cake with mayonnaise and garlic on Instagram, which takes only 20 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 500 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • milk - 300 ml
  • flour - 150 g
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • ground pepper - 1/4 tsp.
  • oil - 3 tbsp.

The filling:

  • onion - 300 g
  • carrots - 300 g
  • mayonnaise or sour cream - 250 g
  • garlic - 3 cloves.
  • boiled eggs - 2 pcs.
  • any greens - optional

Method of preparation:

1. Beat the liver, eggs, milk, flour, salt, pepper and oil in an immersion blender. Fry the pancakes.

2. Filling: grate the carrots, chop the onion, fry in a pan and add salt. Mix with mayonnaise, garlic, and herbs.

3. Form the cake: grease the pancakes with garlic mayonnaise, put the vegetable filling on it, put another pancake on the vegetables, and repeat until you run out of ingredients.

4. Spread the mayonnaise sauce on top of the cake and sprinkle with grated eggs.
