And this, as it turns out, is not the refrigerator, writes Express. There is only one place where the structure and flavor of chocolate will be preserved.

Wheeldon Brothers experts say that the optimal temperature for storing chocolate ranges from 18 to 21 degrees Celsius. It will never melt at this temperature and will retain its solid structure.

They also noted that by keeping chocolate in the refrigerator, you can ruin its taste and flavor. Therefore, the best place to store this product is a dark and cool place. It should also be devoid of any source of odors, as the chocolate can absorb them and then become unusable.

Excessive heat can cause chocolate to melt or form a white powdery surface known as scum, while strong odors can penetrate the chocolate, altering its delicate flavor. To prevent the latter, chocolate can be wrapped tightly in foil.
