It is best eaten fresh, so the fruit will be the most painful. But it is often used in the preparation of delicious drinks and pies.

TV presenter Hryhoriy Herman shared a recipe for a delicious persimmon charlotte on Instagram, which is very flavorful and tasty.

"If persimmons are tart, freeze them. Put it in the fridge for an hour, then defrost it for an hour - that's it, no viscosity, nothing extra, perfect persimmon flavor," the TV presenter advises.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 4 pcs.
  • Sugar - 180 g
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 pinch
  • Wheat flour - 160 g
  • Baking powder - 1 hour
  • Persimmon - 2 pcs.
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 pinch
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 gr.
  • Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp. 

Method of preparation:

1. Break the eggs into a bowl, add sugar and vanilla, beat well with a blender.

2. Mix flour with baking powder, add ground cinnamon.

3. Cut the persimmons into slices.

4. Mix the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir.

5 Cover the bottom of a round baking dish with removable sides with parchment. Grease the sides with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

5. Pour the dough into the mold, put the persimmons in the dough and put it in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 180°C.
