Amazing pumpkin muffin from Starbucks by Hector Jimenez-Bravo
Pumpkin is an absolutely amazing fall vegetable that can be cooked in any way you want - bake it in the oven, make a delicious puree soup, dumplings, add it to salads, make milk porridge. It can also be used to make amazing pies, puddings, candied fruits and even smoothies.
MasterChef judge and culinary expert Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe for an amazing pumpkin muffin from Starbucks on Instagram .
Ingredients:
- Flour - 1.5 cups
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Baking powder - 0.5 tsp.
- Soda - 1 tsp.
- Spice mix (cloves, cinnamon, ginger) - 1 tbsp.
- White sugar - 0.5 cup
- Brown sugar - 0.25 cup
- Egg - 3 pcs.
- Vanilla - 1 tsp.
- Coconut refined oil (or sunflower or olive oil) - 0.5 cup.
- Pumpkin puree - 400 g
- Pumpkin seeds for decoration - a handful
Method of preparation:
- Knead first the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking soda, leavening agent, spices and all the sugar.
- If the vanilla is dry - also immediately add, if extract - enter with the eggs.
- Add the eggs, stir.
- Add the butter, mix again. And at the end, add the pumpkin puree, very carefully mixing the dough until homogeneous.
- Place the mass in a mold, be sure to level it so that it is on the same level, and decorate the top with pumpkin seeds.
- We put it in an oven preheated to 190 C for 75 minutes. Check the readiness with a toothpick or a wooden spoon. If dry comes out - ready.
