A versatile three-ingredient cherry filling for cakes, pancakes and other desserts
Any dessert will be delicious with cherries: pancakes, cakes, and various pastries. The main thing is that they do not have pits. You can easily prepare a universal juicy filling at home.
The idea of making a versatile cherry filling was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Irina with the nickname brutsia. You only need 3 ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 600 g pitted cherries
- 150 g of sugar
- 40 g of corn starch
Method of preparation:
1. Combine the cherries and sugar in a saucepan.
2. Dissolve the starch with the cold cherry syrup in a separate glass.
3. Bring the cherries to a boil.
4. Add starch, stirring thoroughly to avoid lumps.
5. Cook for 5 minutes.
6. Allow to cool under the film.
