We are used to stuffing peppers, canning them, cutting them into raw salads, and baking them. But peppers can also be used as a preparation for many other dishes. Today, FoodOboz shares the idea of cooking bell peppers from Svitlana Levitskaya, which the food expert posted on her Instagram page. This pepper can be consumed as an independent dish, or added to salads and sandwiches.

Ingredients:

  • Bell peppers - 0.5 kg
  • Parsley - a bunch
  • Balsamic vinegar - 15 ml
  • Oil - 15 ml
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Bake bell peppers for 30 minutes at 200 degrees (the skin should start to darken). Cover and leave to cool.
  2. Peel the pepper from the skin and seeds if you baked it whole. Cut it into petals.
  3. Chop the herbs.
  4. Cut the garlic into thin slices.
  5. Layer: bell pepper, salt, ground pepper, garlic, and herbs, sprinkle with oil and balsamic vinegar. Repeat until you run out of peppers.

Leave it for a few hours to bring out the flavor. This pepper can be stored in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.

Green peppers

Unfortunately, green peppers do not contain some of the nutrients that red peppers do, but this does not mean that green peppers are not healthy.
