A simple and healthy breakfast: 3 recipes from nutritionists
Journalists from the American publication Buzzfeed talked to three nutritionists and asked them about healthy breakfasts that anyone on the planet can make.
The three nutritionists shared recipes for healthy breakfasts that they prepare for themselves.
Nutritionist Anne Moni said she starts the day with gluten-free pancakes with a high protein content.
"They are very easy to make. Just mash a banana in a bowl, mix it with a couple of eggs and a spoonful of crushed flaxseed," said Anne, adding that vanilla and cinnamon can be added to the pancakes for flavor.
Pour the mixture into a frying pan, fry over low heat for 10 minutes, then turn it over and fry for a couple more minutes.
Nutritionist Delila Bisase prepares berry smoothies for breakfast. According to her, her favorite recipe is very simple: put a banana in a blender, add half a glass of plant milk, half a glass of frozen berry mix, a teaspoon of peanut butter, and a tablespoon of cocoa. Whisk everything well until smooth.
According to Delilah, it is better to eat this smoothie with a sandwich of fried whole wheat bread and nut butter.
"This breakfast meets all the requirements. We need whole-grain carbohydrates for energy, and fats are good for the heart. In addition, this breakfast contains vegetable fiber and protein, and it is rich in antioxidants from berries and cocoa."
Nutritionist Rian Geiger eats homemade instant oatmeal muesli in the morning.
"These are complex carbohydrates, rich in plant fibers, and they also contain various vitamins and minerals," says Rian.
At the same time, she notes that they need to be prepared in advance: mix half a glass of instant oatmeal with a glass of vegetable milk and leave it in the refrigerator until morning. If you wish, you can add some other ingredients of your choice: banana, cinnamon, berries, or protein powder.
